About Lucy

I have trained as an integrative Counsellor/Therapist which means I have studied and experienced a wide variety of skills, techniques and theories that enable me to provide a tailored approach to each individual’s specific goals and needs. I work in a safe, paced and creative way that will enrich the relationship and keep you, the client, resourced to engage in the therapeutic process.

I have worked with people from all walks of life to explore a wide range of problems. I am passionate about providing a safe, ethical service to my clients.

I am an ardent supporter of providing Counselling to those who may not usually be able to access Counselling so I keep some appointments available for concessions.

I am currently employed to work with survivors of childhood sexual abuse, domestic abuse and rape.

I also work in private practice with a wide range of problems from anxiety, bereavement, relationship problems and difficulty adjusting to university life.

I have worked as a Counsellor in the NHS within a busy GP surgery and also worked within a specialist bereavement service. Prior to that I was employed in a trauma informed drug and alcohol rehabilitation service.

As a registered member of the BACP I am committed to working within their ethical framework.
