In my culture there is a little bit of a negative stigma around mental health so taking that first step was a difficult thing to do but I’m so glad I did. Lucy has been so patient and understanding with me and has enabled me to understand myself in a way that I don’t think I would have achieved on my own. She has also given me practical tools to help calm my anxiety when we ‘re not in sessions together that truly work and have helped me a lot. I was also a bit nervous about moving sessions virtually [due to covid 19 pandemic] but it hasn’t felt different at all!
