“I was very hesitant with counselling in the beginning. In my culture there is a little bit of a negative stigma around mental health so taking that first step was a difficult thing to do but I’m so glad I did. Lucy has been so patient and understanding with me and has enabled me to understand myself in a way that I don’t think I would have achieved on my own. She has also given me practical tools to help calm my anxiety when we ‘re not in sessions together that truly work and have helped me a lot. I was also a bit nervous about moving sessions virtually [due to covid 19 pandemic] but it hasn’t felt different at all!

I’m so thankful for these sessions and the positive impact that she has had in my life.”

“Lucy’s warm and creative approach to therapy has enabled me to talk about traumatic events safely and at a pace that is right for me. Compassion and laughter are important focus in our sessions. I’ve never experienced such light moments with previous therapists which is why I find Lucy’s approach very refreshing. We tackle the big stuff and celebrate the wins together.”

“I didn’t know what to expect when I started coming to see Lucy. She helped me see that what I was going through was normal and encouraged me to try new ways to cope.”

“I came to Lucy during a difficult time. Depression and anxiety were playing havoc with my sleeping, eating, social life and studying. My quality of life was fairly poor and I was often extremely unhappy. Having never been to any kind of therapy before I was rather apprehensive. Lucy quickly proved to be warm and inviting and I had no difficulty opening up to her. In a calm, professional and compassionate manner Lucy guided me through talking about my issues some dating from childhood and some more recent. I believe that I benefited greatly from my time in therapy and learned a lot about how to spot bad episodes of mental health on the horizon and how to better deal with them in turn. I also learned how to set boundaries in a healthy way something I have previously struggled with. Whilst I still have challenging days things are leaps and bounds better than they were and a large part of that is due to Lucy listening and helping to build up the skills I needed.”

‘Lucy has helped me enormously. She is so warm, caring, compassionate and non judgemental and has enabled me to accept my disability. Lucy’s creative approach to therapy Along with her knowledge and skills has allowed me to safely process previous traumatic experiences and understand how they are impacting me no, which I have been unable to do With previous therapists. I am so thankful for the sessions with Lucy and The changes and improvements in my life since starting therapy With her. I wish I’d started therapy with Lucy years ago.
